The 2011 Summer Company Program is now underway!!! 12 Students across Sudbury and Manitoulin will be operating their business for the summer months.
- Do you have a business idea?
- Would you like the opportunity to receive a grant of up to $3,000 to start your own business?
- Are you between the ages of 15 to 29 years old?
- Are you returning to school in September 2011?
Summer Company is a program sponsored by the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade (MEDT) and administered by the Regional Business Centre to encourage students, aged 15-29, to start and run their own business during the summer.
If your application is accepted, you will be eligible to receive a grant of up to $1,500 to put toward start-up costs and up to $1,500 upon successful completion of the program.
In addition to the funding, participants receive hands on business training as well as one-on-one support and advice from a mentor.
