Emerald Isle Resources is a junior mineral exploration and development company engaged in the acquisition and exploration of precious metal and industrial mineral properties in Canada. The company holds varying interests in a number of mineral properties located predominantly in Ontario, including a one-third interest in several unpatented mining claims situated in Street Township, and a 30 percent interest in 16 single-unit patented mining claims in Swayze and Dore Townships. Emerald Isle Resources also holds a 50 percent interest in 60 unpatented mining claims in the area of Glendale in Nova Scotia, and a 100 percent interest in four unpatented mining claims in the Ghost Lake Property in New Brunswick. As of December 31, 2004, the company continued to explore its mineral properties to determine if they contained ore reserves that were economically recoverable.
